I'm Looking for Your Support
In 2022, when the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began and Kharkiv became a frontline city, my girlfriend Alisa and I moved to Budapest.
Two years later, we reached a dead end — we could no longer stay in Hungary. We decided to move to Switzerland to continue our education and creative journey.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t receive the protection status granted to Ukrainian refugees because we had already lived in Hungary for two years and no longer qualified. That meant no access to state support or legal employment.
Still, the desire to leave Budapest never left us. With €600 between us, we moved to Lucerne in September 2024 and enrolled at HSLU to continue our art studies.
By selling our works month to month and with the help of friends, we were lucky enough to live here for nine months. But sadly, we couldn’t find stability in this beautiful country.
We’ve now decided to finish the semester and take a step back to Budapest, where at least life is more affordable. We still believe we can find a way to return and continue studying here, but with our current documents, it's nearly impossible to find official work.
Right now, we don’t have the money to finish the semester, pay for education, or even move back to Budapest.
How to help
To raise funds, I created a limited series of 350 silkscreen prints A3 in the best tradition of Ukrainian graphics and for a donation of 45 CHF I will be happy to send you a copy.
I would be truly grateful for your support during this difficult and pivotal moment in our lives.
Screen print is inspired by Red Cavalry (1932) by Kazimir Malevich and is dedicated to Ukrainian artists whose legacies were stolen - and to those who were killed by russia.
Printed in a limited edition, each work is unique in its own way and is intentionally presented without description — inviting personal reflection and open interpretation.
