Andrii Nekraha (b. 2005, Kharkiv, Ukraine) discovered his passion for art early, at six, he joined a design studio, exploring various artistic movements.
In 2020, he entered Kharkiv Art College to study space design but soon realized his deeper interest in fine arts. The brutal industrial architecture of his hometown became a defining influence in his work.
The russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, was a turning point. As Kharkiv became a frontline city, he was forced to evacuate to Budapest, where he volunteered and studied at MOME, focusing on design movements. The war profoundly affected him, leading to a two-year hiatus from painting.
In 2024, Andrii moved to Lucerne, Switzerland, to continue his education and artistic career at HSLU.
